Refund policy

At Swaraksha Fashion, your satisfaction is important to us. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help. Please review our return and refund guidelines below.

Return Eligibility

We accept returns within 7 days of the delivery date.

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and unwashed
  • Original tags must be attached
  • Items must be returned in original packaging
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required

All returned items are subject to inspection before approval. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

How to Initiate a Return

Option 1: Email Return Request (Recommended)

  • Order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (required if item is damaged or incorrect)

We will respond within 24 business hours with return instructions.

Option 2: In-Store Return

Eligible items may be returned at our store location:

All in-store returns are subject to inspection and approval.

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost or undelivered return packages.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Orders returned due to incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable shipping addresses provided by the customer may be subject to return shipping deductions from the refund.

Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, processing times may vary

Refund amount will include the item price paid, minus original shipping charges (unless the return is due to our error or a confirmed defect).

Store Credit Option

Prefer store credit?

  • Receive 5% bonus value when choosing store credit
  • Store credit never expires
  • Valid online and in-store

Store credit is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Exchanges

We offer exchanges within the 7-day return window.

Same Item (Size or Color Exchange)

  • Exchanges allowed for the same item in a different size or color
  • If the replacement item is the same price, no additional charge applies
  • Price differences will be charged or refunded accordingly

Different Item Exchange

  • The original item must be returned first
  • A new order must be placed separately
  • Refund for the original item will be processed after inspection

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Intimate apparel and undergarments
  • Earrings and pierced jewelry
  • Final sale or clearance items (70% or more off)
  • Custom, altered, or special-order items
  • Gift cards and store credits
  • Items without original tags
  • Items returned after the 14-day window
  • Items damaged due to customer handling

Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

We will provide prepaid return shipping and offer a replacement or full refund upon verification.

Claims for items marked as delivered but not received must be handled through the shipping carrier. Swaraksha Fashion is not responsible for packages once confirmed delivered by the carrier.

Failure to report damaged or incorrect items within 48 hours may result in denial of the claim.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 2 hours of placement.

Orders that have already been processed or shipped cannot be canceled and must follow the return procedure outlined above.

Fabric & Product Variations

Many of our garments feature traditional fabrics, handwork, embroidery, or artisanal detailing. As a result:

  • Slight variations in color, texture, embroidery, or print placement may occur
  • Colors may appear slightly different due to lighting and screen settings
  • Minor thread irregularities or variations are not considered defects

These characteristics reflect the authenticity and craftsmanship of ethnic wear and are not grounds for return unless the item is damaged or materially different from what was described.

We encourage customers to review product descriptions and images carefully before purchasing.

If you have not received your refund after 7 business days:

  2. Contact your payment provider (processing times vary)
